Who We Are

Amy Bannon Named in 20 to Watch
by Franchise Times

Recognizing an unmet need in the market,
Amy Bannon created FranPR, the only public relations firm specializing in franchising located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

With her strong ties to the local and national media developed during her tenure as the
Media Relations Manager at the International Franchise Association, Amy is now parlaying her experience to help franchisors, franchisees and suppliers tell their story through positive media coverage, generate publicity for grand openings and product launches, increase brand awareness, and establish themselves as leaders in their industry.

Over the years, Amy has successfully placed members of the franchise community and positive information about the sector in such media as the Associated Press, Bloomberg’s Small Business, Christian Science Monitor, Crain’s Chicago Business, Financial Times, Kiplinger’s, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, WMAR-TV ABC 2 News, WTTG-TV/Fox 5 Morning News, Voice of America, and the Pentagon Channel, which broadcasts military news and information for the 2.6 million members of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Amy has developed and implemented media campaigns for special events, studies and research findings, awards and achievements, and good works such as the VetFran initiative, which has helped more than
600 veterans purchase franchised small businesses. As a result of a multi-pronged media campaign, more than 65 supportive stories about the VetFran initiative and the franchisors and franchisees who participate have appeared in newspapers, magazines, radio and television shows around the world.

Each franchise deserves to have their story explained to the communities where they have a presence, and Fran PR has the expertise to help you get your story to your target audience. Check out our "Examples" link.
